What is a Pawn?

Pawning or Pledging is the act of loaning money besed solely on the value of the collateral at hand. As a result no credit checks or employment information needs to be considered. The entire process can be completed in a matter of minutes.


How much can I borrow?

We lend a percentage of the resale amount of the item, so the more valuable your item, the more money can be lent against it. Many things can be done to maximize the amount we can lend against your merchandise. For example, cleaning the item, ensuring all attachments and accessories are present as well as and manuals, appraisals or other such documentation.


What Personal information do you need from me?

In order to write a loan, you need to be at least 18 years of age, with two pieces of Government issue Identification. At least one piece of Id must be photo. ie Driver's License, BCID, Pass Port, Citizenship Card, etc.


How long do I have?

Our loans are written for thirty days with a 21 day holding period, meaning your item is held in storage for a total of fifty one days before the loan is considered delinquent. Additional charges over the original reclaim amount apply after thirty days.


What if I only need cash a short period?

We have reduced rates for early reclaims within seven business days of the original date of the loan.


Can I renew my loan?

Of course all are loans are written for thirty days and can be renewed for an additional thirty days be paying the extension charge outlined on your pawn slip


Can I pay down my loan?

Certainly!! As long as your loan is current and all interest is up to date you can make lump sums against the principal amount of your loan making the following month's interest charges less.


Can I have more than one loan?

Of course! We are here to help you with your short term financial needs.


What kind of items do you accept?

Basically we take any items of value, the most common of which are:

  • Jewelry Gold, silver and gemstones, and good quality watches.
  • Home electronics: nothing older than five years and all remotes and cords must be present. Only the major brand names have any resale value, therefore we only accept Sony, Toshiba, JVC, Hitachi, Panasonic, Samsung etc.
  • Video Games and Movies: Discs must be free of scratches and in original cases Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 are accepted.
  • Musical Instruments: Guitars, Banjos, keyboards, trumpets, saxophones, flutes, clarinets etc.
  • Bicycles: Good quality mountain bikes and BMX bikes
  • Tools: Brand name power and hand tools, socket sets, welders, compressors, lawn mowers, weed trimmers etc.
  • Sporting goods: Fishing and Camping gear, Snowboards, hockey and lacrosse gear, motorcycles, jet skis, etc.
  • Vehicles: Boats, motorcycles and some cars and trucks.
